Instructions
- Prepare the orange: Zest the orange using a fine grater to collect 1 tablespoon of zest and set aside. Juice the orange and measure out 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice.
- Combine ingredients: Add the unsweetened coconut cream, freshly squeezed orange juice, orange zest, honey or agave syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the blender.
- Blend mixture: Blend on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop once during blending to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure an even texture.
- Adjust sweetness: Taste the mixture and add more honey or agave syrup if a sweeter flavor is desired.
- Serve and chill: Pour the blended mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate: Chill the glasses or bowls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the mixture to set and cool thoroughly.
- Garnish and enjoy: Before serving, sprinkle shredded coconut and some extra orange zest over the top for a beautiful and flavorful garnish.
