Description

Tender and flavorful broiled salmon fillets with a crisp top and juicy interior, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill or fresh chopped dill
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler in your oven and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and dill.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  5. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over each fillet.
  6. Broil for 7-10 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
  • Adjust broiling time based on the thickness of the fillets.
  • You can substitute dill with parsley or thyme if desired.
  • Check salmon doneness with a fork – it should flake easily.
