- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the halved potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fork-tender. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add steak bites and season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add the remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the potatoes and steak to the skillet and toss everything together with the garlic butter.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cast-iron skillet for best sear on the steak and potatoes.
- Adjust garlic and spices to taste.
- Let steak sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking for more even searing.
