Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter).
  2. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, and add the Italian seasoning and water. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Top with uncooked pasta, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
