- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter).
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, and add the Italian seasoning and water. Stir gently to combine.
- Top with uncooked pasta, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the pasta is tender.
