- 2 lbs frozen meatballs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, ketchup, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until the meatballs are heated through.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce 30 minutes before serving. Let it cook uncovered until thickened.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice or noodles as a main dish.
Notes
- You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen for a fresher taste.
- Adjust the spice level by increasing or omitting red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for 2 months.
