- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for another minute to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the broth, ensuring no lumps form.
- Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and capers.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if using.
