- 1 bag (10-12 oz) tortilla chips
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Sour cream, guacamole, and salsa for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Spread tortilla chips evenly on the prepared sheet pan.
- Top with seasoned meat, black beans, and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side.

- Customize with your favorite toppings like corn, avocado, or hot sauce.
- To make vegetarian, skip the meat and double the beans or add sautéed veggies.
