Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine corn, beaten eggs, milk, and melted butter.
- Stir in crushed crackers or breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and sugar (if using).
- Add chopped onions and shredded cheese if desired, and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Add a pinch of paprika or cayenne for a subtle kick.
