These Rice Krispie Easter Nests are a fun and festive no-bake treat made with crispy rice cereal, melted marshmallows, and chocolate, perfect for springtime celebrations.

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (optional)
- Mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans (for topping)
- Non-stick cooking spray or butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray or butter.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
- Using a spoon or your hands, press the mixture into the muffin tin to form nest shapes with a hollow center.
- Let the nests cool and firm up at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Optionally, melt chocolate chips with peanut butter and spoon a small amount into the center of each nest.
- Top each nest with mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Use cupcake liners for easier removal from the muffin tin.
- You can substitute almond butter or omit nut butter entirely.
- These nests can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
