- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add the brown sugar and stir until it dissolves into the butter.
- Place the banana slices into the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the bottom is golden and caramelized, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt if using.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.

- Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent them from getting too mushy.
