- 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak bites for 1-2 minutes until browned (optional for added flavor).
- Transfer steak bites to the crock pot.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak bites in the crock pot and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours until the steak is tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Searing the steak before adding to the crock pot enhances flavor but is optional.
- You can add a splash of beef broth if you prefer more sauce.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or with steamed vegetables.
