- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over the top. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to coat the chicken.
