Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter.
- Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Italian seasoning and stir to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
- Add a splash of lemon juice to brighten the flavor.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or vegetables for a complete meal.
