- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (12 oz) package egg noodles
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onions until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in pasta sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the noodles, followed by the cream cheese mixture, then the meat sauce. Repeat the layers once more.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- Use any pasta of choice if egg noodles are unavailable.
