- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2×2 inch squares.
- Add a small spoonful of pizza sauce, a pinch of mozzarella, and a few pepperoni slices to the center of each square.
- Fold the dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
- Place the sealed poppers seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
Notes
- Use any pizza toppings of your choice such as cooked sausage, mushrooms, or peppers.
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
- You can make these ahead and freeze them before baking.
