- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara or pizza sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, meat sauce, half of the pepperoni, green bell pepper, black olives, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the rest of the pepperoni.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Customize toppings with mushrooms, onions, or sausage as desired.
- Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
