Description

Patriotic Pretzel Rods are festive, sweet-and-salty treats dipped in white chocolate and decorated with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Perfect for Fourth of July parties or any patriotic celebration.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Dip each pretzel rod about halfway into the melted white chocolate, using a spoon to help coat evenly if needed.
  4. Immediately sprinkle the dipped portion with red, white, and blue sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  5. Lay the decorated pretzel rods on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or place the tray in the refrigerator for quicker setting.
  7. Once set, store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use colored candy melts for extra vibrance if desired.
  • Make sure the sprinkles are added quickly before the chocolate hardens.
  • These can be made up to 3 days in advance.
