Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Bites Marinade
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cube chicken bouillon, crushed into powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it ready for baking the chicken bites.
- Prepare the marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, crushed chicken bouillon powder, dried oregano, dried basil, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken: Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the marinade and toss thoroughly to coat each piece evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes to maximize flavor infusion.
- Arrange on baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Spread the marinated chicken bites out in a single layer, ensuring they are not crowded for even cooking.
- Bake the chicken bites: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked, tender, and has a lightly browned exterior.
- Garnish and serve: Once baked, remove the chicken bites from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for a fresh, vibrant finish. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the chicken bites for the last 2-3 minutes but watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Ensure chicken pieces are evenly sized for uniform cooking.
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste, especially salt and pepper.
- These chicken bites pair wonderfully with a side salad, rice, or your favorite dipping sauces.
