Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug or bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. Add the vegetable oil and water. Stir until fully combined and no lumps remain.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  4. Microwave on high for 60 seconds.
  5. Let cool for a minute before eating. Enjoy directly from the mug!

Notes

  • Microwave power may vary; if the brownie looks undercooked, microwave in 10-second intervals.
  • Do not overcook or it may become dry.
  • Try adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for a decadent treat.
