Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined.
- Stir in the oats and optional add-ins like raisins or chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden and the centers look set.
- Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
