Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Topping
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup pastel M&M candies
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and melted butter into a medium mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly with a spoon until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
- Press Mixture into Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with foil. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly across the bottom, pressing down gently to form a compact layer.
- Melt White Chocolate: Place the white chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Top the Bars: Pour the melted white chocolate evenly over the peanut butter base. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth out the chocolate layer.
- Add M&M Candies: Sprinkle the pastel M&M candies evenly over the white chocolate topping to add color and a crunchy texture.
- Chill the Bars: Refrigerate the baking dish for 2 hours to allow the bars to set firmly. Once chilled, lift the bars out of the pan using the foil, cut into 16 squares, and serve.
Notes
- For easier cutting, let the bars sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing.
- You can substitute the pastel M&M candies with any colorful candy or sprinkles of your choice to suit the occasion.
- Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week to keep them fresh.
- If you prefer, use dark or milk chocolate chips instead of white chocolate for a different flavor profile.
