- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cook: In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, vanilla, salt, and oats.
- Form Cookies: Drop spoonfuls onto the baking sheets. Let cool for 30-45 minutes until set.
- Store: Keep in an airtight container.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the warm mixture.
- Almond or sunflower butter can be used as a peanut butter alternative.
