Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter (for greasing the baking dish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.

  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and ricotta cheese until well blended.
  5. Place half of the cooked spaghetti in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pasta.
  6. Add the remaining spaghetti on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Pour the meat sauce evenly over the top layer of spaghetti.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  9. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
