- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (such as Sriracha)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, hot sauce, garlic, honey, paprika, cayenne, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and mix well to coat evenly with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or place them on the grill.
- Bake or grill for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are cooked through and nicely charred.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the wings for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of hot sauce and cayenne pepper.
- Marinating overnight enhances the flavor significantly.
