Description
A delicious and comforting Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger Wrap combining creamy macaroni and cheese with seasoned ground beef, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and grilled to crispy perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
Beef Mixture
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Wrap Filling
- 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup pickles or caramelized onions (optional)
Wrap & Cooking
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for grilling)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
- Warm the Tortillas: Slightly warm the tortillas to make them pliable and easier to fold without tearing.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warmed tortilla flat. Place about ½ cup of prepared macaroni and cheese in the center, then top with a scoop of the cooked beef, a handful of shredded cheddar cheese, and your choice of optional pickles or caramelized onions. Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly into a burrito-style wrap.
- Grill the Wraps: Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crisp.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet and serve warm, enjoying the melty cheesy, savory filling inside a crispy wrap.
Notes
- You can use leftover macaroni and cheese or boxed varieties for convenience.
- Add cooked bacon or hot sauce to the filling for extra flavor.
- These wraps can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in a pan or air fryer.
