- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice, capers, chicken broth or white wine, and lemon zest.
- Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to reduce slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in fresh parsley if using, and remove from heat.
- Serve warm over fish, chicken, or vegetables.

- This sauce is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
- You can substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
