Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice, capers, chicken broth or white wine, and lemon zest.
  4. Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to reduce slightly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Stir in fresh parsley if using, and remove from heat.
  7. Serve warm over fish, chicken, or vegetables.
