These juicy air fryer turkey burgers are a healthy and easy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They’re packed with flavor, require minimal ingredients, and cook up quickly in the air fryer.

- 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat or regular)
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, mustard, ketchup
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Place the turkey patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove patties from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes.
- Serve on buns with desired toppings.
Notes
- Do not overmix the turkey mixture to keep the burgers tender.
- You can freeze raw patties for future use—just thaw before cooking.
- Use parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup if desired.
