Description

These juicy air fryer turkey burgers are a healthy and easy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They’re packed with flavor, require minimal ingredients, and cook up quickly in the air fryer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat or regular)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, mustard, ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
  5. Place the turkey patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove patties from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve on buns with desired toppings.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the turkey mixture to keep the burgers tender.
  • You can freeze raw patties for future use—just thaw before cooking.
  • Use parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup if desired.
