- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Optional: fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Rub both sides with olive oil.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl, then season chicken evenly.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet or dish lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
- Bake boneless breasts for 20–25 minutes and bone-in for 35–40 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
