Description

A simple and versatile method for baking juicy, flavorful chicken breasts, whether bone-in or boneless. Perfect for meal prep or a healthy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Optional: fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub both sides with olive oil.
  4. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl, then season chicken evenly.
  5. Place chicken on a baking sheet or dish lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  6. Bake boneless breasts for 20–25 minutes and bone-in for 35–40 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
