Description

Honey Mustard Salmon is a flavorful and healthy dish featuring salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, then baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the honey mustard mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon for best flavor, but thawed frozen salmon works too.
  • You can add a pinch of chili flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a green salad.
