Ingredients
Scale
Orange Julius Ingredients
- 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate (½ of a 12-oz can)
- 1 to 1½ cups milk (whole, 2%, or dairy-free)
- ¼ cup granulated or powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 10–12 ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the frozen orange juice concentrate, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
- Add Ice and Blend: Add 10 to 12 ice cubes to the blender. Blend again on high speed until the drink becomes frothy, creamy, and has a slushy texture.
- Serve Immediately: Pour the Orange Julius into glasses and serve right away while cold and slushy for best taste and texture.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond, soy, or oat milk.
- Adjust sugar quantity based on sweetness preference or use powdered sugar for smoother consistency.
- Use fresh ice cubes to get the best frothy texture.
- Serve immediately after blending as the drink tends to separate if left standing.
- To make it thicker, add more ice or reduce milk quantity slightly.
