Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1/2 medium ripe banana (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Coconut Water and Spirulina: Pour the coconut water into a blender and add the spirulina powder. Blend on low speed for about 20 seconds until the spirulina is fully dissolved.
- Add Spinach and Lime Juice: Add fresh baby spinach and fresh lime juice to the blender. Blend on medium speed for about 15 seconds until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
- Incorporate Mango and Banana: Add the frozen mango chunks and the optional half banana. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until the smoothie becomes creamy and thick.
- Add Chia Seeds: Add the optional chia seeds, then blend briefly on low speed for about 10 seconds to evenly distribute without breaking down the seeds too much.
- Adjust Consistency: Check the smoothie’s consistency. If it is too thick, add more coconut water or mango chunks and blend briefly again to reach your desired texture.
- Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. Optionally, garnish with lime slices or fresh mint leaves for additional flavor and presentation.
Notes
- For a colder smoothie, use frozen spinach or add ice cubes along with coconut water during blending.
- Banana and chia seeds are optional but add natural sweetness and extra fiber.
- Spirulina powder has a strong taste; adjust the quantity based on preference.
- This smoothie is best consumed fresh to preserve nutrient content.
- Customize sweetness and thickness by varying the amount of fruit or coconut water.
