Description

Harissa Baked Salmon is a bold and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated in a spicy, smoky harissa marinade and baked to perfection—ideal for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges and chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper to form a marinade.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the harissa marinade.
  4. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes if time allows.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust harissa amount to control heat level.
  • Serve with couscous, rice, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Use skin-on fillets if desired; bake skin-side down for crispy results.
