- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 100g cooked ham, chopped
- 100g shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into 6 equal squares.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped ham, shredded cheese, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
- Mix the beaten egg with milk to make an egg wash and brush over the puffs.
- Place the puffs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute spinach with kale or other leafy greens.
- Use any cheese of your preference, like Swiss or gouda.
- Serve with a dipping sauce like honey mustard or ranch.
