Description

A savory and creamy ham and cheese quiche with a flaky crust, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light lunch.

  • 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. Sprinkle the diced ham, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and green onions evenly into the crust.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the crust.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  7. Let the quiche cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
