Description

Juicy grilled steak tacos served with fresh toppings and wrapped in warm corn tortillas, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank or skirt steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cotija cheese
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the steak.
  4. Grill the steak for 4-6 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Remove steak from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing sliced steak in tortillas and topping with onion, cilantro, avocado, cotija cheese, and a squeeze of lime.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Marinate steak for up to 2 hours for extra flavor.
  • Use flour tortillas if preferred.
