Description

Juicy and flavorful grilled pork chops, seasoned and cooked to perfection over an open flame. A simple yet delicious main course perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and thyme.
  3. Brush pork chops with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly onto both sides of the pork chops.
  5. Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving.
  6. Flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Marinate the pork chops in olive oil and seasoning for a few hours for extra flavor.
  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking and ensure juiciness.
  • Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a balanced meal.
