Units Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Cooking:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

To Serve:

  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, lettuce, tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, red onion, parsley, dill, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.
  2. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns if desired. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite Greek-inspired toppings such as cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and a dollop of tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • These burgers can also be grilled over medium heat.
  • For a low-carb version, serve the patties in lettuce wraps or over a Greek salad.
  • Make ahead and freeze uncooked patties for quick meals.
