Description

A refreshing and healthy Greek salad made with fresh vegetables, olives, and feta cheese, dressed with olive oil and oregano.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped Romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and Kalamata olives.
  2. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the top of the salad.
  3. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the red wine vinegar, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh and firm vegetables for the best texture and flavor.
  • Optional: Add sliced bell peppers or capers for extra flavor.
  • For a vegan version, use plant-based feta cheese.
