Ingredients
Scale
Fruit and Juice
- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
Sweetener
- ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
Liquid
- 4 cups cold water
Serving
- Ice, for serving
- Peach slices and lemon wheels, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, lemon juice, and sugar. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and uniformly blended.
- Strain Mixture: Pour the blended peach mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove pulp and create a smooth lemonade texture, if desired.
- Mix and Adjust Sweetness: Stir in the cold water thoroughly. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed, stirring well to dissolve.
- Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and to serve it cold.
- Serve: Pour the chilled peach lemonade over a glass filled with ice. Garnish with peach slices and lemon wheels as desired for a decorative and fresh presentation.
Notes
- Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of your peaches and your personal preference.
- Straining the blended mixture is optional but recommended for a smoother drink.
- For a sparkling twist, substitute cold water with sparkling water.
- This recipe can be made a few hours ahead and kept refrigerated for optimal flavor.
- Use ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor intensity.
