Description

A refreshing and vibrant Golden Hour Peach Lemonade that blends ripe peaches with tangy lemon juice, sweetened to taste and served chilled over ice. Perfect for a sunny day, this homemade lemonade combines natural fruit flavors for a delightful, thirst-quenching beverage.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit and Juice

  • 4 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)

Sweetener

  • ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

Liquid

  • 4 cups cold water

Serving

  • Ice, for serving
  • Peach slices and lemon wheels, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, lemon juice, and sugar. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and uniformly blended.
  2. Strain Mixture: Pour the blended peach mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove pulp and create a smooth lemonade texture, if desired.
  3. Mix and Adjust Sweetness: Stir in the cold water thoroughly. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed, stirring well to dissolve.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and to serve it cold.
  5. Serve: Pour the chilled peach lemonade over a glass filled with ice. Garnish with peach slices and lemon wheels as desired for a decorative and fresh presentation.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of your peaches and your personal preference.
  • Straining the blended mixture is optional but recommended for a smoother drink.
  • For a sparkling twist, substitute cold water with sparkling water.
  • This recipe can be made a few hours ahead and kept refrigerated for optimal flavor.
  • Use ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor intensity.
