  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the orzo and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to toast slightly.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and heavy cream until well combined and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
