- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 tsp dried)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the steak pieces dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak pieces in a single layer (do in batches if needed) and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
- Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet.
- Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic and thyme, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

- Use a high-quality cut like sirloin or ribeye for best results.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear on the steak.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed veggies for a complete meal.
