Description
Savory and melty French Dip Sliders made with roast beef, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions on slider buns, served with a warm au jus dipping sauce.

- 12 slider buns
- 1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter (for onions)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 packet au jus mix
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter and cook onions until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Layer roast beef evenly over the buns, followed by caramelized onions and Swiss cheese slices.
- Place top halves of buns over the cheese layer.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until tops are golden brown.
- While sliders bake, prepare au jus mix with water according to package instructions.
- Serve sliders warm with au jus on the side for dipping.
Notes
- Use provolone or mozzarella if preferred over Swiss cheese.
- Can be prepared a few hours in advance and baked when ready to serve.
- Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
