- 4 medium russet potatoes, washed and scrubbed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Aluminum foil, for wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut each potato into halves or quarters depending on size, or leave whole if preferred.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Wrap each potato (or portion) in aluminum foil, sealing tightly.
- Place the wrapped potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes, until tender when pierced with a fork.
- Carefully unwrap the foil and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pat of butter or a sprinkle of cheese inside the foil before sealing.
- You can add chopped onions or bell peppers for variety.
