Description

A light, fluffy, and easy-to-make vanilla whipped cream perfect for topping desserts, fruits, or drinks.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Chill a mixing bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  2. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into the chilled bowl.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Beat with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form (about 2–3 minutes).
  5. Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Do not overbeat the cream or it will turn into butter.
  • For extra stability, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch or instant pudding mix.
  • Can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored in the fridge.
