Description
A refreshing and simple homemade strawberry lemonade made with fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for summer days or any time you need a cool, fruity drink.

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Fresh strawberry and lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1/2 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds.
- Add the lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 1/2 cups of cold water and stir well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh strawberry and lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- You can use honey or a sugar substitute instead of granulated sugar for a healthier version.
- Frozen strawberries can be used if fresh ones are not available.
- For a fizzy twist, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water.
