Description

These Easy Protein Rice Krispie Treats are a healthier twist on the classic snack, packed with protein for a satisfying, no-bake treat perfect for post-workout or on-the-go snacking.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the crispy rice cereal and protein powder together.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until fully combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down evenly using a spatula or your hands.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until set.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy. Store in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes
