- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Add to the skillet mixture and stir well.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared casserole dish. Top with provolone or mozzarella cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Pour evenly over the casserole.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
