Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, frozen vegetables, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy with your family.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Feel free to use fresh vegetables instead of frozen.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
