  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles (preferably Korean spicy ramen)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until translucent.
  4. Add shredded chicken and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Mix until combined and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked noodles into the sauce and mix well until the noodles are evenly coated.
