- 1 pack instant ramen noodles (preferably Korean spicy ramen)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 boiled egg, halved (optional)
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until translucent.
- Add shredded chicken and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Mix until combined and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles into the sauce and mix well until the noodles are evenly coated.
- Top with boiled egg, sliced green onion, and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy your spicy buldak ramen!
Notes
- Adjust the gochujang quantity to control the spice level.
- You can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
- Adding mozzarella cheese on top adds creaminess and helps balance the heat.
