Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles (preferably Korean brand)
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for extra spice)
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a small pan, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and water. Stir well and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  4. If using, crack an egg into the pan and cook to desired doneness, or stir it into the sauce to scramble.
